Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding contract between you ("you" or "User") and Paramind Studio ("we," "us," "our," or "TubeTubeGo"). This agreement governs your access to and use of our website tubetubego.com, our transcription and summarization tools, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. The Service

TubeTubeGo provides a tool that allows users to generate text transcripts and AI-powered summaries from publicly available YouTube videos. You provide a YouTube URL, and our Service processes it to produce the content.

2. User Accounts

  • Account Creation: To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You can register using an email address and password or through a third-party service like Google. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up to date.
  • Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your password secure. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Age Requirement: The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

  • Service Tiers: We offer both a free and a paid ("Pro") version of our Service.
    • Free Tier: Users on the free tier may be subject to limitations, such as a maximum number of transcripts per month (e.g., 10).
    • Pro Tier: Paid subscriptions provide access to enhanced features, such as unlimited transcripts. Plans are available on a monthly or yearly recurring basis.
  • Billing: We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle all payments. By subscribing, you agree to our pricing and to Stripe's terms of service. All payments are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
  • Refund Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods, or if you decide to cancel your subscription before its end date. An exception may be made if the Service is demonstrably non-functional and we cannot resolve the issue in a reasonable time, or where required by law.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Our Intellectual Property: The Service itself, including the name "TubeTubeGo," our logos, the website design, and all underlying software, technology, and code, are the exclusive intellectual property of Paramind Studio and are protected by copyright and other laws.
  • Your Content: You own the final transcript and AI summary ("Generated Content") that you create using the Service. We claim no ownership rights over your Generated Content.
  • License to Us: To provide the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, display, and manipulate the YouTube video content you submit, solely for the purpose of generating your transcript and summary and making it available to you through your account.

5. CRITICAL: User Responsibility and Copyright

This is important, so let's be clear.

  • TubeTubeGo is a Tool: Our Service is a tool for processing content. Like a word processor or a video editor, the responsibility for how it's used lies with the user.
  • Your Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use the YouTube content you submit for transcription and summarization. This may include owning the content, having permission from the copyright holder, or determining that your use constitutes "fair dealing" or "fair use" under applicable copyright laws.
  • We Are Not Liable: You agree that TubeTubeGo (Paramind Studio) is not responsible or liable for any copyright infringement you commit while using our Service. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from your breach of this section.

6. Acceptable Use and "Fair Use" Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Transcribe or summarize any content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or otherwise attempt to disrupt the integrity of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or scrape the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our express written permission.

Furthermore, while our "Pro" plan may be described as "unlimited," we have a Fair Use Policy to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to monitor usage and, if we determine that your usage is excessive, not typical of a single individual's use, or is intended to abuse the system, we may temporarily throttle your access or contact you to discuss your usage.

7. Termination

  • By You: You can terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings.
  • By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice and without refund if you violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use or Copyright sections.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: Transcripts and summaries are generated by automated systems and AI. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or reliability. The Generated Content may contain errors and should be reviewed for accuracy before use.
  • Service Provided "As-Is": The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paramind Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) $50 USD or (b) the total amount of fees you have paid us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

Before filing a formal lawsuit, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
